Week 301: THRILL

We're thrilled about this week's new cue word and we're pretty sure you'll feel the same!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Mugdha
design defined:
Black & white with a little pop of color is classic CAS.

Anna
design defined:
Layer your image and sentiment to preserve white space.

design defined:
Use the Rule of Three and foam tape for dimension.

design defined:
Don't be afraid to fill half of your card with designs and keep the other half totally blank!

design defined:
Using diagonal lines adds interest to a CAS design.

Janet
design defined:
Highlight your image and sentiment by putting them on a tag.

Joyce
design defined:
If you don't have a die cut for your sentiment, just fussy cut it yourself.
design defined:
Use the sentiment to ground your scene.

design defined:
Add a little shadowing under your image to ground it and keep it from "floating."

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday at 9:00 a.m. (CDT)!
