Week 83: JUMP

Time for a brand new cue word here at CASology!  Are you ready?!  This week's word may very well have you jumping from one idea to another as you try to define what it means to you!  As always, you can interpret the word literally or go for something a bit more outside the box!  We love seeing what you come up with each week and we're ready for a fresh batch of inspiration from you as we visit your blogs!

Before you get those fingers inky, take a quick look at the different ways the design team members and this week's guest designer interpreted the cue word!

Guest Designer:  Piali
 design defined:
Second generation stamping creates motion in CAS cards.

design defined:
It sometimes helps to combine computer-generated sentiments with
stamped sentiments to achieve the message you want.

Kimberly
design defined:
Try mixing or stacking stamps sets and sentiments for more use!

Maureen
design defined:
Try going below the card front to create interest while keeping your design CAS!

 May
design defined:
Repurpose household items to create fun elements in your CAS card.

Meghan
design defined:
Making your sentiment the same as the cue card is a good way to tackle a harder word.

Melissa
 design defined:
Using lots of white space allows the main image to take center stage.
design defined:
Horizontal orientation allows more breathing room for your images.

Ardyth
design defined:
A simple square defines the focal point within lots of white space!

Gillian
design defined:
Use a background stamp to ground an image.

Jen
design defined:
Use a shadow to help ground a lone image.

Joyce
design defined:
If you use patterned papers from the same pad, you can mix and match, knowing all the patterns will work together.

Now go have fun and don't forget to link up your JUMP creation by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CST)!

  4. HI,
I wasn't sure who to contact about this but I accidentally linked up the wrong card to this challenge (jump). I don't know how to "unlink" it so I apologize. I do have one for this challenge though, and will be linking it up shortly.
