Week #18: ORANGE

It's a new week here at CASology and it's time to stoke the fire of the holiday season!  What better color than ORANGE to liven things up a little?!  Pumpkins, pumpkin pie, marmalade, sweet potatoes...you get the idea!  Not that food need be at the top of your list, of course!

We have a sponsor graciously returning this week too!  Cindy Coutts of Cindy Coutts Designs has offered to send this week's winner a wonderful harvest stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Stamp Set:  Harvest Blessings

How perfect for the season!

The design team has a variety of ideas to inspire you this week, so let's take a look!  Jean, last week's winner, is joining us as our guest designer!

Lots of white space, a light texture on the "grass," and a very basic design on the pumpkins keeps this card CAS.

Minimal layers are a good thing on a CAS card!

Keep scale in mind when combining letters and images so that you create a cohesive look.

Tracey

Selective embossing adds interest to a clean and simple design as well as a touch of Stickles for shine.

Lots of sparkle makes a simple, one layer design shine!

Use different colours on your sentiment to make specific words stand out.
